Opening and Keynote
Change Yourselves, Not the Climate

29 September, 9:00 to 10:30 | Celo, Hesperange & online | (EN, DE & ES)

We can only achieve climate action together, but each individual can and must contribute. Keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Gerhard Reese, Professor of Environmental Psychology at the University of Koblenz-Landau, delved into this theme from a psychological viewpoint. Reese drew on his vast research into the questions of why people often fail to behave in ways that support environmental and climate protection despite being aware of the necessity to do so. His answers fell somewhere between the frustrating and the cautiously optimistic.
