Hands-on experience - develop renewable energies in your region!

This webinar was the first of many RegEnergy Talks. Two speakers with profound knowledge in the renewable energy transition were speaking about relevant findings from their daily business. They shared insights into the challenges and opportunities of local energy communities. The webinar focused on regional storage mechanisms coping with intermittent renewable energy supply. In addition, participants learned about institutional partnerships with backcountry communities and the cooperational work within these regions.
The event was part of the extended programme of this year's EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW). The webinar was co-organised by Climate Alliance within the Renewable Energy Regions (RegEnergy) project. The project aims at connecting the urban demand for renewable energies with the rural supply.
