Ukrainian Cities in the Clean Energy Transition: Achievements, Milestones and Replication Potential for Communities Across Ukraine

This event will showcase three Ukrainian pilot cities, the cities of Zhytomyr, Kalush and Nizhyn, and provide insights into best practices and successful case studies on financing renewable energy and energy efficiency projects – from both Ukrainian and other European municipalities. The event will also serve as the official ANEW-Life project launch. The project is a forward-looking initiative supporting the reconstruction and decarbonisation of Ukraine’s energy system. ANEW-Life seeks to strengthen the involvement of public and private sectors in financing urban energy interventions. This is intended to promote the energy transition and at the same time contribute to the broader reconstruction and stabilisation efforts.
This session will offer valuable knowledge, practical tools and opportunities for collaboration. The event will be held in English and Ukrainian (with simultaneous translation).
