2016 Climate Star

A culture of local climate action ‒ Mainstreaming good practice
In 2016 the Climate Star Gala will saw 15 victorious municipal projects honoured with Climate Star Awards for exemplary climate actions. As in past Climate Star competitions, numerous projects and initiatives were submitted for the seventh edition of the Climate Star, each demonstrating the commitment and strength of the local level in climate action and energy policy. In 2016 the Climate Star Awards Gala, on invitation of the Government of Lower Austria, took place within the framework of the International Climate Alliance Conference.
