EUCF: 7th call promises financial support for local investment concepts

The 7th call of the European City Facility is now open and invited local authorities throughout Europe to apply for financial support for local investment concepts. The call is funded by the LIFE Programme and offers an opportunity for 71 local authorities and their groupings throughout the European Union, Ukraine and Iceland. It is the last EUCF call, and applications will need to be submitted before 18th of December 2024 17:00 (Brussels time).

Cities and towns can receive a fixed grant of up to €60,000 through the EUCF to meet their needs in developing investment concepts to support their sustainable energy and climate plans. Previously, beneficiaries have used the funding to conduct a wide variety of actions, including technical feasibility studies, market analyses, stakeholder planning, or legal, economic and financial analyses, but the specific action is up to the applicants, within the topical areas of clean energy or energy efficiency.
