New report: Policy recommendations for renovation in CEE countries
Climate Alliance has published a synthesis report on building renovation barriers in Central Eastern European countries including policy recommendation to overcome these barriers. The report is part of the CEESEN-Bender project addressing building interventions in vulnerable districts to fight energy poverty.
The report calls upon political decision makers to
- Improve the design of support programmes for building renovation
- Improve handling and access of the data related to building energy performance and energy poverty
- Improve conditions for the integration of renewable energy systems into a building
- Respect the partnership principle and increase participation
