Twin City Programme – Call for municipalities on inclusive mobility now open
Climate Alliance’s JUST STREETS Twin City Programme is now accepting applications. The project, co-funded by Europe’s Horizon programme, is working with cities to develop streets shaped by active mobility that are sustainable and inclusive for all citizens. Through the call, 12 local authorities will be selected to join the project as twin cities, thus benefitting from expert insights and practical “how-to” experience on the topic of inclusive mobility.
The project consortium will work with each of the 12 twin cities to replicate and adapt successful innovative street transformation strategies to the individual local context, helping them to build a roadmap for inclusive and climate-resilient urban mobility. Cities as well as towns with over 10,000 inhabitants are encouraged to apply by 16 November for an immersive learning experience – expenses covered!
