EU Climate Pact call now open: engage your community in local climate action!
As of now, individuals and civil society organisations across the EU have the chance to raise awareness about the climate crisis, share climate action solutions, and gain recognition via the European Climate Pact, the EU's leading initiative for citizen engagement in climate action.
By taking part, cities and towns can show how active they already are in involving citizens in local climate action or use the Climate Pact activity suggestions to get started and engage citizens on the ground. The European Climate Pact offers four ideas with minimal prepartion for local implementation. Participation is open to all interested individuals and organisations in the EU, including the European Climate Pact Ambassadors, the Partners of the Pact, community leaders, municipal representatives, educators and youth. The deadline for participation is May 2024.
Climate Alliance is part of European Climate Pact Secretariat and runs the citizen engagement activities in order to win over even more citizens for local climate action!
