Grants available for cities and towns in the 6th application phase of the European City Facility
As of today, the 6th call on clean energy investments of the European City Facility (EUCF) is open. Cities and towns from across Europe have the chance to receive financial support for the development of investment concepts for local energy projects. Applications can be submitted until 15 March.
Cities and towns can receive a fixed grant of up to €60,000 through the EUCF to meet their needs in developing investment concepts to support their sustainable energy and climate plans. Previously, beneficiaries have used the funding to conduct a wide variety of actions, including technical feasibility studies, market analyses, stakeholder planning, or legal, economic and financial analyses, but the specific action is up to the applicants, within the topical areas of clean energy or energy efficiency.
